Final Paper Preparation
The authors of original contributions accepted for oral, short oral, and selected poster presentations must submit the final version of their paper not later than September 15, 2025. This is a hard deadline.
The papers will be published by Springer on the LNEE (Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering) book series. Use the conference paper templates (download the paper templates) to meet formatting requirements. Please do not use the template that has been adopted for 3-pages abstracts and do not change the file format or extension.
The minimum paper length is six pages. There is not a maximum length.
It is strongly recommend that all paper authors include their affiliation and email address in their manuscript
Further details on paper preparation are available at the following link: https://www.springernature.com/gp/authors/publish-a-book/step-by-step-conference-proceedings
Authors will be required to upload via https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SIE2025 the following files:
source file of the final manuscript in Word (.docm) or Latex format;
PDF version of the final manuscript;
signed License to Publish form, through which the copyright of the paper is transferred to Springer.
The signed License to Publish form (download the License to Publish form), through which the copyright of the paper is transferred to Springer.
Each corresponding author should print the License to Publish form, enter the title of the contribution as well as the names of the authors at the top of the form and sign it. Important: details of the authors (sequence, names, name and affiliation of corresponding author) given in the form should be complete, final and correspond to the details given in the manuscript.
Deviations from the above specifications could impede the publication of your paper on the Proceedings.
Oral & Short Oral Preparation
The oral presentations of sessions on Thursday 26 will be in English; if no foreign attendees will be present, the presentation could be in Italian.
The time allocated for each oral presentation is 15 minutes, including 3 minutes allowed for discussion.
The time allocated for each short oral presentation is 5 minutes + poster session.
Computers and projectors will be available in the conference room. Speakers should bring their presentation on a USB memory stick in order to transfer it to the computer in the presentation room. The room staff will assist you to upload your file to the computer.
Prepare your slides as a PowerPoint and a PDF file. To avoid software compatibility problems, speakers are advised to put both Microsoft Powerpoint and PDF versions of their presentation on the USB stick.
Speakers should arrive in their session room at least 15 minutes before the start of their session to upload their file (if not done before) and to report to the Session Chair. Files can also be uploaded before, during the breaks between the sessions.
Poster Preparation
All the posters should be preferably drafted in English.
The area available for a poster is 841 × 1189 mm (A0 format).
We offer a poster printing service (free of charge): you can send the poster by email to elena.devita@uniparthenope.it and you will find the poster ready at the conference site.
Authors who want to take advantage of this service must send the PDF version of the poster to elena.devita@uniparthenope.it no later than June 16, 2025. Please indicate the area number related to your paper in the subject line of the email.
Please, do not send the poster if you do not want to take advantage of this service.
